Michael Ball will be taking to the stage for some exclusive performances onboard a luxury cruise to the Canaries sailing in October.
The West End star and singer will be performing as part of a star-studded line-up of entertainment on Imagine Cruising’s 14-night Ultimate Cunard Canaries Sailcation.
During lockdown he wrote and produced his latest album, ‘We Are More Than One’, which included some inspiration from his interview with Captain Sir Tom Moore. Michael is also set to kick off a 13-date arena tour in the UK and Ireland with Alfie Boe this Christmas.
Taking place on Cunard’s regal Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, the Cunard sailing will also feature a live ‘Audience With’ style interview with Eamonn Holmes OBE, performances from Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts, and a celebration of all things ABBA courtesy of spoof pop group Björn Again.
As well as the stellar entertainment, passengers will be treated to a sun-soaked itinerary which includes an overnight stay on the ship in Madeira’s Funchal, as well as stops in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote.
Passengers will then head on to cities such as Spain’s Cadiz where tapas and flamenco reign supreme, as well as the Portuguese capital Lisbon, with its beautiful views and brilliant restaurants.
As for the ship itself, guests can expect plenty of luxury, from the cabins through to the existing onboard entertainment.
For example, there are Cunard’s iconic gala balls where passengers can dress up and dance to music from an eight-piece orchestera (themes range from Roaring Twenties to Masquerade), lounges where you can relax to enjoy mellow live music or enjoy trivia, and restaurants serving up everything from fine steak to classic pub grub.
For extra pampering, the luxurious spa with its extensive menu of ocean-inspired treatments should do the trick.
Then there are the cabins with their king-sized beds, nightly turndown service, lavish bedding, seven-pillow menus, and perks such as access to a stateroom steward for the duration of your stay.
Oh, and for something extra special, the ship also boasts some pretty luxurious suites with dining perks, and extra touches such as sparkling wine and chocolates when you arrive.
The best part is that the cruise offers tempting value for money. Prices start from £1,199pp for the 14-night sailing, which works out at approximately £85pp a night.
