Love Island hunk Brad McClelland was coupled up with Lucinda Strafford when he was brutally dumped from the villa. Lucinda went onto couple up with Aaron but that romance is now over just days after they left the villa
Love Island star Aaron Francis has revealed he’s spoken to former Brad McClelland and made peace after he stole the northern lad’s girl following his exit from the villa.
Brad was coupled up with Lucinda Strafford when the pair were forced to make the agonising decision over which one of them should go home.
The northern lad bowed out and Lucinda later cracked on with Brad’s pal Aaron.
Aaron and Lucinda got boot from the ITV2 dating show on Sunday night and they flew back to the UK together.
However, it’s since been revealed they’ve split and Aaron has taken to his Instagram stories to reveal he’s still mates with Brad despite cracking on with the girl he was smitten with.
In an Instagram Q&A session, the 24-year old luxury events host told fans “it’s time to get to know him”.
When asked if him and Brad have spoken since he’s been out of the villa, Aaron said: “Course. Me and Brad are boys.”
He told his 233k instagram followers Brad “was one of the first people I messaged when I came out of here” and cheekily added “we both know what show we’re on”.
Aaron even revealed the pair are planning to meet up as soon as he’s finished his 10 days of quarantine following his return from Majorca.
Love Island viewers previously questioned whether the onscreen ‘bromance’ showcased on the show between the boys would continue after Aaron made a move on Lucinda.
However, it looks like the boys’ friendship will continue for much longer than Aaron’s romance with Lucinda, which is already over.
Lucinda confirmed they are no longer together, telling the Mail Online : “Unfortunately, both of us didn’t find actual love in the villa.
“We’re great friends, I know that I can come to him for anything.
“The aim of the game is to find love and I did really want to … I made amazing friends in there.”
