A list of wedding ‘rules’ shared on behalf of a bride and groom has gone viral – and they include ‘don’t talk to the bride’ and also explain that each gift must cost at least £54.
With the big day approaching, the wedding planner sent out an email to all guests to confirm the headcount and while they were at it they decided to lay out the ground rules for the wedding.
They insisted that no one could wear white, cream, or ivory, that all hair had to be in either a ‘basic bob or ponytail’, and go on to stipulate that no one should have a ‘full face of makeup’.
The bizarre list of rules has gone viral on Reddit and many users said the demanding set of instructions would make them boycott the ceremony.

The email from the wedding planner reads: “Good morning, I am reaching out to all confirmed guests to do a final head count and go over some rules and regulations of the wedding day.
“First of all, are you still attending with a plus one?
“Rules and regulations: One – please arrive 15 – 30 minutes early. Two – Please do not wear white, cream or ivory. Three – Please do not wear anything other than a basic bob or ponytail.
“Four – Please do not have a full face of makeup. Five – Do not record during the ceremony. Six – Do not check in on Facebook until instructed.

The post on Reddit had thousands of comments within the first few hours of being online.
One person wrote: “‘Don’t talk to the bride’ really means ‘I’m the bride but I’m going to pretend I’m someone else in case people don’t like this’.
“She can throw the wedding planner under the bus and pretend she knew nothing about it. In actuality she either doesn’t have a wedding planner or the wedding planner knew nothing about this.”
And another added: “The bride must be atrociously hideous or insecure, maybe both?”
While a third said: “I’m curious about how many actually bothered to show.”
